Introduction
Susanne Bimek and Mirko Beuger are two animal welfare activists going on a 25,000 km three-year walking project. The project has the support of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The walkers will cross two continents and 14 countries, including Canada and North America. http://wantoo.lochtemedia.de Their reliable companion: the delivery trolley HCT! This is a standard model without modifications. With its tough construction and lockable lid it will be able to withstand the rough and sometimes inhospitable areas on route. We are very excited about this unique endurance test and are proud to be involved in such a project. Our best wishes go to Ms Bimek and Mr Beuger.

WANTOO project needs tob e stopped after 8.900km. Due to a severe disease of Mrs. Susanne Bimek our team is forced to return to Germany. We are aware of the fact, how hard it is to abandon this adventure after all mental and physical strains. We wish Mrs. Bimek all the best and hope to get well soon.
13th August 2007 - KM: 06522
A helping hand for the environment 10 mpg? No oil? Low air pressure? Battery dead?
The HCT is maintenance free, and so the short stop at the petrol station is only to tank up on some energy bars and some fuel for the cooker.
24th June 2007 - KM: 05437
Up hill and down dale with the HCTEndless lakes, endless mountains, endless rocks and endless viaducts (in background).
The arduous journey is not only leaving its mark on our trolley testers: the HCT is also suffering – the left front-wheel is dirty.
22nd May 2007 - KM: 05070
The HCT is the first trolley in the world to receive the "Bear-Proof" stamp of quality...26th April 2007 - KM: 04434
The final check from manufacturer Harro Harken (viadukt) at the airport. The trolley looks much too good – and that’s bad for advertising! At the end of the 25,000 km trek it will have to take part in another challenge: the Paris-Dakar rally.
06th April 2007 - KM: 04255
It just runs and runs and runs... As a precaution, wheels are replaced before flying to Canada (necessary parts delivered by air transport, a typical customer service offered by Viadukt).
05th December 2007 - KM: 03248
Post delivered under palm trees just before the celebration of St. Nicholas’ Day (6th December): a special treat reserved for a lucky few postal workers.
16th November 2006 - KM: 02270
Non-stop rain and bad streets are the natural habitat of the HCT. The celebrated reliability of this trolley is reflected in its nickname: HECTOR
18th October 2006 - KM: 02122
Two masterpieces of perfect craftsmanship are finally photographed together: the Sagrada Familia and the HCT...
20th September 2006 - KM: 01024
After leaving Germany, our two Wantoo adventurers have walked with the HCT through Luxemburg and all the way across France At the end of 2006 they reached Lisbon, and from there caught a flight to Canada. We wish them all the best for the next 24,000 km!
04th August 2006 - KM: 00060
Unfortunately, you can see Delivery Rule No. 1 being broken in this picture: always keep the lid firmly closed!
01st August 2006 - KM: 00000
After champagne, canapés and TV interviews our adventurers take to the road with a gleaming HCT.
